“That moment, when Blair slides over by Chuck and he’s looking at her about to kiss her, it’s HIM who seems like the innocent one. Maybe it’s just the power of Ed’s acting, but as their foreheads and noses touched, I just had this feeling sweep over me like he had been wanting a moment like that for awhile and was scared, in awe and happy all at once. And as they’re actually kissing (again I don’t know if this is Leighton or Ed), Blair is the one that’s leading things. He seems taken aback by everything. Almost as if the “Are you sure” isn’t just a question for her, but for him as well.
It’s just funny because to me it seems like many people think Chuck is the controlling one…that he’s the one that holds a power over Blair. But in that moment, you can see the power she holds over him.
Pretty sure I could analyze that scene for days.”

Once upon a time a Beautiful Girl with dark chocolate brown hair, wrapped in a warm, pink and silk pyjamas, every night fell asleep dreaming about orange blossom with her handsome Prince Charming. But one day her life suddenly changed: a mysterious Knight with a black mantle and aviolet bowtie kidnapped her in his black limousine and enclosed her in his silver Empire . Scared by the attraction that she felt, which pushed her to love black and red lingerie, the young lady forced herself to wear only blue and yellow outfits, waiting for her Prince Charming to come on his fierce white horse. But, enchantingly, the Dark Knight showed himself at the light and, magically, the Beautiful Girl could see beyond the black mantle. In episode 5x05, Blair is wearing yellow when she selects her bridesmaids. Green?
Sometimes green has a negative symbology. It is the colour of putrefaction . In the human body green is also a symbol of serious illness and death. In episode 1x07 Blair is wearing a quite severe green-grey lace dress. The family gathering with the Archibalds is exactly a situation of “stability” and “perseverance” ( the future parents-in-law are there, Blair tries Anne Archibald’s ring on), both of them symbolized by green, as it has already been explained. However, it is also a situation of big oppression and disappointment. The flat green of her dress, which tends to ash-grey, symbolizes Blair’s broken expectations, therefore hermetaphorical death (she realizes that her relationship with Nate is spoiled because of his feelings for Serena and because the Captain is interested in her family money). Her rebirth at Victrola is particularly suggestive: Blair, by getting on the stage, is coming back to life from her own ashes, as a “phoenix” ; taking her dress off is a symbol of her showing her true nature. read more
Orange ?
Orange is a colour that gives cheerfulness and it is associable to full satisfaction for a goal that has already been achieved. Emotionally it expresses thelove which is already consolidated and fulfilled. Blair is wearing orange just after Louis’ proposal in episode 4x21, as a sign of her new status as the future Princess of Monaco (she is wearing it in bed x and also when she goes for a walk with her future mother-in-law. In this episode Blair is wearing a white coat with her orange dress, plus a green scarf: the effect remembers the Italian flag which can be associated to the Grimaldis, who are from Genoa. Blair chooses orange again for her engagement party with Louis (5x08). In general, the relationship between Blair and the Prince is always accompanied by a touch of orange (5x01 with a clutch, 5x13 with a purse). read more…Follow us here!

Blair: There’s nothing I love more than coming home with a victory under my belt. What do you think our count is?
Chuck: For us, a million. The world, zero.
Blair: Sometimes I think a takedown’s better than sex.
Chuck: Don’t get crazy now.
Blair: Well it’s an endorphin rush. Plus it makes me think of old times. I really appreciate you stepping up tonight.
Chuck: I wanted to say you owe me, but for some reason it didn’t feel right.
Blair: Wow. Holding back from a threat. It’s almost like something a friend would do.
Chuck: Maybe that’s because it’s what we are. Friends.
Blair: Well. Who knew it’d take tons of hate-sex and a public takedown for us to get here.
Chuck: I should be going. Good night, Waldorf.
Blair: Same to you, Bass.
